Hi there! I'm Rachel, Founder of Tipsy Bakes UK. We’re a local Manchester bakery serving cocktail cupcakes and cheesecakes from our home in Didsbury.

I've worked in hospitality for over 10 years, organising everything from weddings and wedding fairs to birthday parties and corporate events. I love what I do because it allows me to make people happy while serving delicious food and drinks.

Cocktails in particular quickly became my passion. Then, one night when I was sitting at home drinking my margarita, I thought; ‘I bet a cupcake version of this would be amazing!’

Then, after weeks of trial and error, I finally cracked the recipe and baked my first margarita cocktail cupcake! It tasted exactly like I wanted it to, and it wasn't long before I started to think about which other cocktail-inspired cupcakes I could create.

The rest is history. What started as a hobby grew into my very own business and five years later, here I am with a whole menu of delicious tipsy treats including cocktail cupcakes, cheesecakes, and brownies.

In 2024, I moved Tipsy Bakes UK from Yorkshire, across the Pennines, to Didsbury in Manchester. I’ve got big plans ahead, and will be setting up Tipsy Bakes UK stands at various makers markets in Manchester and beyond, so keep an eye on my events page and follow us on Instagram to see what’s coming up.
